Lap Joint Flange Design

A Lap Joint Flange is used together with a stub end. The flange remains loose around the stub end, allowing the flange to be rotated for easier bolt-hole alignment during installation.

This arrangement can be especially useful in piping systems where regular dismantling, inspection or maintenance is required.
